It's a Corn Maze!!

Today, we wanted to experience another "first" for our family. We visited a CORN MAZE! I've always wanted to see one, wander through one, and get lost in one :-P So, we utilized a school holiday and went with Jeremy's girlfriend, Lizzie, to the Corn Maze in the Plains :-D Of course, it was a bit chilly with a very unkind wind blowing, but we still had a LOT of fun!

We were instructed to get a tall pole with a flag on top and make our way through the maze. If we got REALLY lost, we could wave our flag in the air, and the corn cops would come to our rescue ;-)

Gary and Christopher paired up to battle the maze. Christopher really doesn't look too sure about this new experience.

Emily and Lydia went with Mom (me) through the very tall corn. The Maze people had set up various stations for us to find. It made the challenge even that much more fun! :-)

This was the view from the bridge where the Corn Cop stands to watch the activities in the Maze. It was VERY cool!

After we all were done finding our way through the Corn Maze, there were tons of activities for the kids to enjoy :-)

For some reason, Jeremy and Lizzie were quite content to sit on the bench, talk, and try to stay warm ;-)

We just had finish off the day by picking up a pumpkin for our house :-) There were so many to choose from!

Overall, it was a VERY fun day!! Can't wait until next year to do it again...This time it'll be earlier in the season (when the corn stalks are actually green), and we'll try the Night Maze! Woohoo :-)
